Bitumen Storage Tank
Bitumen tanks with capacities ranging from 5 m³ to 100 m³ are manufactured for easy transport. Fixed tanks with capacities from 250 m³ up to 25,000 m³ are also produced. Heating is efficiently provided by bottom-installed rod heaters and multi-element flange heaters on the tank body. External rock wool insulation on the tank body ensures excellent energy savings. Thermostatic heating control offers ease of use and reduces heating costs.
In our country and Europe, the most commonly used bitumen storage tanks are those with thermal oil heated coil systems. Oil-heated tanks equipped with thermostatic control valves ensure that the bitumen remains at the desired temperature.
Under harsh working conditions, flame tube bitumen tanks are sometimes used. These bitumen tanks operate with liquid or gas-fueled automatic thermostatic burners and are provided insulated with rock wool.
