Transferring bitumen economically to very distant regions is quite challenging, along with insufficient storage and lack of additional facilities, which constitute the main problems in international logistics.
As is known, bitumen is transported in both liquid and solid forms. A new breakthrough has been achieved by filling bitumen into bags at a specific temperature and carrying out the cooling process.
Bitumen in solid form inside big bag sacks of up to 1 ton can be easily stored. Additionally, it can be easily loaded into containers using forklifts. Thus, an economical and compliant process with international transportation regulations is realized.
