In the production process, bitumen, solution, and solvent pumps are used. These pumps have the capability to feed materials into the process at the desired ratios. Additionally, a flowmeter is installed behind the pump to ensure process stability by providing the system with the necessary data during pumping. Bitumen and solvent are passed through a static mixer in the ratios defined by the recipe, ensuring that the bitumen reaches the desired penetration values.

The solution is prepared in a tank made of polypropylene (PP3) material. A weighing unit is designed for other additives in the formula (emulsifier, acid), allowing all additives to be easily adjusted and stably transferred to the solution tanks. Water required for the solution is heated either in an external tank or using an electric heater.

Once the temperature and pH level are appropriate and the mixture is homogeneous, the solution passes through a flow meter via a 316-grade stainless steel in-line vertical centrifugal pump, and reaches the mill.

At the mill, bitumen and solution are mixed and broken down at high speed, forming an excellent emulsion. Samples taken from the sampling valve are tested and then transferred to storage tanks. All operations are fully automatic or manually controlled via a PLC system.
